Optics

Without a key the tool runs in its open version: the sketch board, the parabolic reflector, and a single-section TIR lens with a flat exit face. A premium key adds multiple sections, shaped exit faces, the vertex solver, measured intensity files and reflector BSDF.

A key is checked here in your browser and stored on this computer: you will not be asked again until it expires.

Curves

Drag a curve onto the sheet. Pull an endpoint near another one to snap them together; once a end is stuck, pulling the other rotates the curve around it. Click a curve to inspect it.

Rays

Verification

Fires light from every point of the emitter at the computed profile. It is the only measure that sees the extended source — the prediction works on angles, and an emitter is not an angle. Costs a few tenths of a second.
